A little Alto Sax today on the Playlist. I’m spending the holidays in Chicago, a town that has a seen a few Charlie Parkers in its day. My boyfriend and I are currently juggling money questions, as any couple entering the super cereal phase of their relationship is wont to do. For tips on this kind of young and broke Epic Consolidation, we thought we might turn to the Great Suze Orman and get her book “Young, Fabulous & Broke” on my Nook. Unfortunately, the “Young, Fabulous & Broke” book is about two bucks more digitally than what I could get in the store with my book discount. Ohhh, there just ain’t so satisfaction in the Publishing Industry.
As luck would have it, I was that day gifted an e-book from my dad: “Dave Ramsey’s Total Money Makeover!” Dave Ramsey is my Dad’s personal guru / solid tip giver / bumpkin-voiced man. I’ve listened to one of my dad’s Dave Ramsey audiobooks. Brilliant though he may be, I have a giant personal hurdle taking advice from a man whose voice sounds like this guy:
Eep. Irregardless, my grand romantic plans have lately been finding roadblocks marked with dollars $ign$ lately. But no matter, I’ve got my love and this song:
