Happy Valentine’s Day! Today is a big day because, being Monday, a day one typically goes back to work, State Senators and State Representatives across the country have found themselves passing the gay marriage pendulum back and forth. Indiana, New Hampshire, Iowa, Hawaii, Maryland are all debating pro and anti-gay amendments to their state constitutions. A lot of votes are ironically or painfully-on-pupose scheduled for today, Valentine’s Day.
And so on and so forth this will swing in all states until we’re all in our graves. I just don’t have the stomach for debate on a day like today. Don’t have the energy!
So, here’s a love story with a happy ending for you. Two southern men, KC and Larry Jansson, married in Connecticut before they returned home to Texas. For some reason, they didn’t marry in their beloved South. Anyway, KC and Larry met at a gay conversion therapy camp as teens. Through unimaginable adversity, they found each other, fell in love, stayed in love and escaped the camp together.
Please, read their whole story here. It’s perfect.
