Chris and I drank a Mexican Apple Soda last night…we both realized, independently of one another, that it tasted EXACTLY like those novelty Mario Bros. sodas we drank as kids when the Super Mario Bros. movie was coming out. The Princess one!
By the way, as a mark of just how keen an eye I have for talent, when that movie was coming out, I thought it was going to be the one to beat that summer. “Who the hell wants to see a movie about dinosaurs?? Dinosaurs are old news. It’s all about NES!” If I was of legal betting age, I would have placed all my money on Super Mario Brothers movie to beat Jurassic Park in 1993.
Such was my love of this soda…
